Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Coles Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in reducing cost and risk across our supply base.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the Initiative Tracker, Contract Repository, and Initiative Folders to ensure benefits are effectively tracked and reported.
- Lead the full sourcing process, including development of scope, supplier selection/evaluation, commercial negotiation, risk mitigation, and contract execution.
- Provide analytical and operational support for strategic sourcing, SRM, contract performance management, reporting, and other procurement activities.
- Conduct TCO, should cost, commodities management, benchmarking, and other analysis to enable better decision making and management of suppliers and spend categories.
- Lead and support RFx process as directed by Category Managers.
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist with a strong analytical skillset and deep value chain management knowledge. You will have a related tertiary qualification, strong commercial acumen, and experience in procurement or commercial management.
You will also have research and networking skills to ensure Coles is at the forefront of industry-leading practices and strategic trends.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
