Quality Assurance Specialist Role

The position of Quality Assurance Specialist is pivotal in upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance within our organisation. This role entails conducting thorough centre visits, reviews of documentation, practices, and physical environments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organisational standards.

  • Compliance Verification
    • Verify that centres meet the necessary compliance and quality standards through regular audits and evaluations.
    • Identify key areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations for centre teams to address these concerns.
  • Fact Finding and Reporting
    • Conduct fact-finding processes related to child harm complaints or incidents, gathering and analysing evidence to inform clear, evidence-based reports.
    • Interview team members and relevant stakeholders to gather information and provide constructive feedback to facilitate growth and development.
  • Capability Building and Knowledge Sharing
    • Support centre teams in understanding and meeting compliance and quality expectations by identifying gaps and delivering targeted guidance and education.
    • Develop and share best practice examples, facilitating workshops and webinars to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Collaboration and Team Engagement
    • Effectively contribute to national and state-level quality and compliance objectives through collaboration, communication, and alignment with cross-functional teams.
    • Engage with the national Quality Assurance and Quality and Curriculum Team to align quality assurance practices and drive consistency.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • ACECQA approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (Diploma or higher)
  • A minimum of 5 years working in the Australian Early Childhood Sector in a Centre Leadership Position
