We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team in the stunning Whitsundays region of North Queensland.
About the Location:
The Whitsundays is a vibrant coastal town offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and modern amenities. Surrounded by bushlands, cane fields, and stunning beaches, it provides excellent opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. Role Overview:
In this full-time role as a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for delivering primary healthcare services, conducting patient assessments, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care across the region.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or equivalent medical qualification
- AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner or equivalent medical registration
- Experience in primary care and patient assessment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered care approach
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
- Professional indemnity insurance
Salary and Benefits:
Our estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
