Sustainability Professional - Infrastructure Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Professional to lead sustainability workstreams on major infrastructure projects across Australia. This role requires expertise in integrated, future-focused solutions and the ability to work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead sustainability assessments and detailed life cycle analyses
  • Develop clear, well-researched reports and technical papers on sustainability topics
  • Partner with clients and project teams to embed advanced sustainability strategies into infrastructure projects
  • Train and inspire junior sustainability team members
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in sustainability within infrastructure or transport sectors
  • Proven experience as principal sustainability lead in IS Ratings and/or equivalent infrastructure sustainability certification schemes
  • Detailed and empirically rigorous approach to sustainability
  • Mature negotiation and communication skills with diverse stakeholders
