About the Role:

As a Procurement Specialist, you'll be part of a collaborative and fast-paced procurement team. Working closely with the Procurement Manager, you'll manage supplier relationships, optimize procurement processes, and contribute to commercial planning and system improvements.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day procurement activities within assigned categories
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and lead times
  • Support forecasting and demand planning in collaboration with commercial teams
  • Assist in reviewing pricing agreements and tracking supplier key performance indicators
  • Contribute to process enhancements and ensure adherence to procurement policies
  • Maintain accurate records in the procurement system and support the development of enterprise resource planning systems
  • Provide guidance and support to new team members as needed
Requirements:
  • Experience in procurement or purchasing roles
  • CIPS Level 4 certification or working towards it
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and commercial acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success
