About the Role

Bendigo Kangan Institute is seeking a skilled Trade Teacher to join our Corrections Education Centre team at Fulham Correctional Centre. As a Trade Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering quality vocational education and training in Building and Construction pre-apprenticeship and conducting competency-based assessment in both theoretical and practical environments in correctional settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality vocational education and training in Building and Construction pre-apprenticeship
  • Conduct competency-based assessment in both theoretical and practical environments
  • Enhance students' skills, knowledge, and job-preparedness
Requirements
  • Completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Degree, Diploma, or Certificate relevant to the academic level and industry experience relevant to Building and Construction Industry
  • Relevant compliance documents, including Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), current police check, and certified right to work documentation
