Chief Medical Officer and Radiologist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Radiologist to take on a dual role as Chief Medical Officer for our private client in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing organization, with a strong focus on patient care and clinical governance.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiology, with experience in clinical governance, establishing operational processes, and managing and overseeing clinic operations. They will also possess a deep understanding of Medicare regulations, RANZCR and AHPRA accreditation standards, and medico-legal requirements in Western Australia.

The role will involve working closely with other management staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. The ideal candidate will have senior level expertise, be able to navigate complex business relationships and multiple stakeholders, and possess high level communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical leadership and direction to the clinic
  • Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures
  • Oversee the management of clinic operations, including staff supervision and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations, RANZCR and AHPRA accreditation standards, and medico-legal requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • AHPRA and RANZCR Accreditation
  • Experience in clinical governance, establishing operational processes, and managing and overseeing clinic operations
  • Strong understanding of Medicare regulations, RANZCR and AHPRA accreditation standards, and medico-legal requirements in Western Australia
  • Senior level expertise and ability to navigate complex business relationships and multiple stakeholders
  • High level communication skills
