We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Customer Service Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our business, providing essential services such as reception, merchandise sales, and membership information to our members, casual users, and potential new members.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy making lasting positive impressions and developing good working relationships with customers. You will be responsible for:

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivering first-class customer service to all customers, both in person and over the phone.
  • Providing customers with information about memberships and selling memberships when a person joins or renews.
  • Promoting our centre's services and programs to customers and accepting bookings and enrolments.
  • Developing and maintaining good working relationships with customers.
  • Promoting and exercising good public relations at all times.

Requirements

  • Positive, friendly, helpful, and energetic work style.
  • Computer literacy, familiarity with software packages and point-of-sale systems.
  • Experience in the leisure industry is desirable.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2).
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Police Check.
  • Working with Vulnerable People.
