Job Description:

This is a 12-month casual position based in Sydney, with various locations available. This role requires full availability, including weekends and public holidays, as the roads we manage operate 24/7.

About the Role:

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to help manage and monitor road network operations in real time.

This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient travel for road users by responding to incidents, coordinating with stakeholders, and operating intelligent transport systems.

  • Monitor traffic flow and respond to incidents using ITS, CCTV, and other systems
  • Coordinate with emergency services and dispatch response crews
  • Operate key systems including ventilation, drainage, and fire panels
  • Communicate updates via digital platforms
  • Log incidents accurately and escalate issues as needed
Key Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in high-pressure environments, sound decision-making and situational awareness, attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

They will be able to complete structured training and assessments, and have experience in traffic operations or emergency response coordination (preferred).
