Courier Representative

A courier is a critical role in the healthcare industry, responsible for transporting patient samples, reports, and other medical materials between laboratories, hospitals, and clinics. This position requires a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and physical stamina.

• Routine delivery runs to collect and transport pathology samples, including urgent specimens, blood products, test results, and clinical waste
• Liaising with medical practitioners and laboratory staff to coordinate store orders and ensure timely delivery of supplies
• Preparing and delivering reports, stock control documents, and other medical records as required
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to strict quality assurance protocols

• A current full driver's license is essential for this role
• Prior experience in customer-facing roles or transportation services is highly valued
• Excellent communication and time management skills are crucial for success in this position
• The ability to lift and manage heavy loads, as well as navigate challenging terrain, is necessary for this role
• Vaccine preventable disease evidence, such as Hepatitis B and COVID-19, is a requirement of this position
