Key Leadership Role for Support Systems Engineering

This is a critical leadership position that requires the ability to bridge between support and development teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing high-performing teams.

The successful applicant will lead a specialized systems engineering team responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers. This includes developing and implementing best practices for incident management, ensuring rapid response and resolution for high-availability systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing team of systems engineers
  • Fostering strong collaborative relationships across departments
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive best practices for incident management
  • Overseeing 24/7 technical support operations
  • Establishing robust root cause analysis methodologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience working on complex systems comprised of edge and cloud computing elements
  • 2+ years of people management experience in a technical environment
  • Strong software development background, preferably in Python and C++
  • Proven experience with high-availability systems and autonomous or robotics platforms
  • Experience with incident management frameworks (ITIL, SRE practices)
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools
