Defend the Digital Realm

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Application Security Engineer to fortify our platform against ever-evolving security threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough codebase reviews to identify vulnerabilities and provide engineers with secure solutions.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to assess risk and offer policy guidance on secure code review and best practices.
  • Promote security architecture excellence across the Product and Engineering organization, including secure configuration and deployment of new infrastructure and services.
  • Train engineering and product teams on secure code and design principles.
  • Continuously test applications, both internally and externally, to ensure their security and integrity.
  • Stay abreast of the latest threats and attack techniques to inform our security strategy.
  • Coordinate and manage third-party application security reviews and penetration tests.
  • Establish standards for identity and access management across the platform.
Requirements
  • A passion for solving complex security challenges in high-growth environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Self-motivation and drive to learn new skills or dive deeper into existing ones.
  • In-depth understanding of common attacker tools and techniques and how they can be exploited by insecure development practices.
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical security concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Bonus points for experience with Kotlin, Typescript, NodeJS, Kubernetes, and additional training or certifications in cybersecurity.
