About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance support via an on-call roster to ensure aircraft availability
  • Maintain compliant aircraft records, including Win Air records
  • Comply with and work within Engineering systems and processes as specified in the Maintenance Organisation Manual
  • Ensure aircraft are clean and presentable at all times
  • Maintain RFDS aircraft support equipment
  • Perform temporary/relief maintenance at other RFDS locations as required
About You

We are looking for a professional with:

  • Equipped with basic computer skills
Requirements
  • CASA Licence/s for type-rated turbine aircraft appropriate to RFDS CO fleet
  • A current Australian driver's licence
  • Extensive experience in the maintenance of aircraft with a commitment to service delivery
  • The ability to determine priorities and achieve deadlines with a minimum of supervision
  • Well-developed communication and organisational skills
