Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Solutions Developer to join their Project Management Team within the Wealth Management division.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in project management and/or product development, covering internal enterprise software solutions or client-facing applications. They will be adaptable to suit the needs and dynamic of the team and able to manage project roadmaps from solution design to transformation.

This role will be hired on a 12-month contract with a daily rate of $750-$950 per day + super, with potential for the initial contract to be extended or transitioned into a permanent role.

The successful candidate will have experience from all areas of financial services, but our client is primarily seeking those with a background in funds management, especially wealth management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Strategic and Tactical Solutions: Work with business partners to develop strategic and tactical solutions that achieve business objectives.
  • Manage Solution Development: Manage the development of solutions for product areas and align priorities and approaches with business objectives and desired outcomes.
  • Business Analysis and User Story Preparation: Perform business analysis, prepare user stories, determine workflow, and provide recommendations on process enhancements and system upgrades.
  • Project Planning and Management: Map out project timelines and paths to execution, track projects, and ensure they are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
  • A university degree with a major in business, finance, IT, or related disciplines is required.
  • At least 5 but ideally 10 years of experience in project management and/or product development, covering internal enterprise software solutions or client-facing applications.
  • Self-motivated with a solution-focused mindset and the ability to work well and deliver under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build relationships, influence, and manage stakeholders.
  • Experience in Agile development practices, Design Thinking, or User-Centered Design is a plus.
