About the Role

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make maths accessible and engaging for students of all ages. In this role, you will guide students in mastering complex mathematical concepts through thoughtfully planned, curriculum-aligned lessons that incorporate problem-solving tasks, hands-on activities, and digital tools.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching qualification
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) certification
  • Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation

Selection Criteria

  1. A thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and the ability to design and deliver effective lesson plans
  2. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
  3. The capacity to be a proactive member of a professional learning community and contribute to the development of teaching and learning strategies
  4. The ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to diverse student needs
