Job Title: Data Science Manager for Network Growth

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Science Manager to lead our network growth initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business outcomes through data-driven decisions and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evidence of significant positive impact on business outcomes through science work or direction.
  • Proven achievements in developing and managing long-term research visions and portfolios of research initiatives that have been successfully integrated into production systems or informed policy decisions.
  • Management experience for cross-functional projects, including proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g., R, Python).

A PhD in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, machine learning, AI, or statistics is preferred. Additionally, 10+ years of experience working in data science in a consumer product company and 5+ years of experience managing data scientists or similar roles are required. Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, Sagemaker, EC2, Data Pipeline, and EMR is also necessary.

Requirements:
  • Mastery of quantitative disciplines such as computer science, mathematics, machine learning, AI, or statistics is required.
  • 8+ years of experience working in a data science capacity are essential, preferably in the tech or consumer industry.
  • Hiring and leading experienced scientists, as well as developing junior members to a successful career track.
