The Role

We seek a Senior Intensive Therapeutic Care Program Coordinator to support the implementation of our programs in the Queanbeyan region. Our young people come from backgrounds of trauma, and we are looking for individuals who will work with their strengths to see them thrive.

Under the direction of the Manager, you will provide strong leadership and coordinate the operational requirements of the team on a daily basis. This includes ensuring the provision of services and support to clients and families in line with CareSouth's Practice Framework.

About You

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity within the OOHC, Disability Services, or Community Services sector.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work/Welfare, Social Sciences, Disability, or equivalent.
  • A commitment to the safety of children, young people, and people with a disability.
  • Proven flexibility, adaptability, and ability to respond and adjust easily to change in work demands.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of the ongoing effects of injuries, trauma, and/or neglect and abuse.
  • Effective interpersonal, conflict negotiation, and resolution skills, as well as the ability to provide strong leadership under pressure.
  • A current First Aid Certificate including CPR, a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) online Worker Orientation module 'Quality, Safety, and You', and a current NSW driver's license.
