The Department of State Development is a key player in driving economic growth and development in South Australia. As a newly created agency, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Executive Officer to provide strategic support and advice to the Chief Executive and Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of professional, confidential, and responsive executive support services to the Chief Executive and Department. This will include providing strategic advice, coordinating executive services, and maintaining key relationships and networks both within the Department and externally.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic support and advice to the Chief Executive and Department
- Deliver professional, confidential, and responsive executive support services
- Coordinate executive services and maintain key relationships and networks
- Identify and contribute to the improvement of business processes and capabilities
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the structures and decision-making processes of the public sector
- Significant experience in coordinating and delivering executive services
- Ability to handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze complex challenges and make critical decisions
- Competitive salary ($108,109 min - $116,864 max pa) plus superannuation
