Senior Advanced Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development group, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using modern programming languages such as C/C++.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of software systems and processes.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Bachelor of Engineering or other equivalent qualification.
  • Expertise in delivering high-quality customer-facing solutions for the Microsoft Windows platform using modern C/C++, ideally with experience in video processing pipelines or a similar domain.
  • Proficiency in SOLID principles, test-driven development.
  • Experience creating performant, scalable, and maintainable software designs.
  • Experience working with C#.
  • Experience with live video streaming applications.
  • Experience in video processing frameworks and libraries e.g. FFmpeg, Media Foundation.
  • Experience in COM programming.
  • Experience profiling high-performance code.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
