About the Role

Ventia is seeking experienced Telecommunication Riggers to join our Wireless Network team in Derrimut, Victoria, Australia. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and full access to our employee benefit platform.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Upgrade and modify existing wireless telecommunication sites, including Mobile, Fixed Wireless, and Broadcast.
2. Install and test hybrid cables, and perform PIM testing, sweep testing, distance to fault, terminating feeders, bird-proofing, and waterproofing connectors.
3. Read and interpret construction and As-built drawings, and complete works to specification and standards.
4. Install and maintain antenna and feeder cables on monopoles and towers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a telecommunication rigger.
• Experience with NBN wireless, Optus, TPG (desirable).
• Current intermediate or advanced rigging ticket.
• Ability to work with EWP and cranes.
• Working at heights and Perform Tower Rescue certified.
• RadHaz / EME Awareness.
