Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Weir. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing products in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Utilizing Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and mechanical aids to move products efficiently
  • Operating RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and service providers to resolve stock movement and transportation issues
  • Working collaboratively with the warehouse team to achieve departmental objectives and customer service requirements

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years' experience in a warehouse environment
  • Strong commitment to safety and experience working with safe operating rules, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, communicate effectively with peers and supervisors, and relay information accurately and clearly
  • Computer literacy and ability to utilize warehouse management systems
  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role and pass a pre-employment medical assessment
