IT Infrastructure Architect

This role involves providing architectural oversight and governance aligned with Defence's Technology Assurance Framework (TAF).

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering briefs to governance forums, highlighting risks, progress, and roadblocks.

  • Develop strategic plans to modernise ICT operations.
  • Prioritise initiatives to enhance data centre strategy documents, roadmaps, and management practices.
  • Negotiate outcomes within a multi-vendor IT environment.
  • Lead the implementation of hybrid data centre environments and hyperscaler integration.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in ICT architecture within complex projects and a proven track record of delivering ICT transformation programs in Federal Government or Defence.

A tertiary qualification in Information Technology is essential, along with industry certifications and frameworks in architecture, assurance, or infrastructure governance.

The candidate must have strong communication skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.

Australian Citizenship and an active NV2 clearance are required for this role.
