We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Business Advisory team in Brisbane.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a portfolio of projects and client relationships, with a focus on achieving revenue and profit objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining overall teamwork-in-progress and performance to budget
  • Closely monitoring the delegation of client work, budgets, and deadlines
  • Developing and imparting technical knowledge through training
  • Reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types
  • Team performance reviews, including personal development goals
  • Maintaining a high level of understanding of clients' businesses and current issues affecting them
  • Contributing to innovation within the business unit
  • Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards
About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • A qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Demonstrated experience in business and tax advisory within a public practice setting
  • Professional, client-focused, and invested in developing into a trusted business advisor
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Excellent prioritisation, attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills with the ability to adapt in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in Xero, MYOB, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
