As a Disability Employment Specialist, you will have the opportunity to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve sustainable employment and build stronger communities. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional results and making a real difference in people's lives.

The role involves working with a caseload of job seekers with disability, assisting them in setting goals for employment and identifying smaller steps along the journey. You will market clients through liaison with employers and other community stakeholders, advocating for our clients and helping employers see the advantages of hiring people with disability.

This is not just a short-term goal, but rather a long-term commitment to empowering individuals to achieve their full potential. As a Disability Employment Specialist, you will be part of a positive and energetic team that drives us to deliver more for our clients.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Assist clients to set realistic goals for employment and identify smaller steps along the journey
  • Work with employers to help them understand the benefits of hiring someone with disability
  • Help clients into work and support employers and clients to sustain it
  • Collaborate with your teammates to achieve exceptional results
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress
