About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our factory as a full-time member of staff.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in sheet metal skills and be able to work on diverse projects with precision and accuracy.

This role involves interpretation of technical drawings, performing welding duties using TIG and MIG welders, and welding various metals such as Mild Steel, Stainless, and Aluminium.

You will also use hand power tools, grinders, oxy sets, and other necessary equipment to inspect and correct welds as needed to meet product specifications.

A Trade certified or time-served Sheet Metal Worker with previous experience in Stainless and Aluminium fabrication is required. You must be able to work safely and efficiently, have a positive attitude, and be keen to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret technical drawings to complete tasks accurately
  • Perform welding duties using TIG and MIG welders
  • Weld various metals including Mild Steel, Stainless, and Aluminium
  • Use hand power tools, grinders, oxy sets, and other necessary equipment to inspect and correct welds
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trade certification or equivalent experience in sheet metal fabrication
  • Previous experience working with Stainless and Aluminium
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
