The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing IT Technology Operations and Service Desk Support services across the organisation's Service Desk and Desktop Support function. This includes managing a team of direct reports, supporting a combination of project work and BAU activities, as well as continuous improvement of existing systems and processes.

To succeed in this role, we seek a candidate with experience leading and motivating teams using a 'lead from the front' approach. Strong IT support experience across Microsoft technology stacks and cloud infrastructure is essential, as is the ability to provide high levels of customer service and stakeholder engagement for system-related support activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the team and taking ownership of issues escalated to 3rd line support, working with external vendors.
  • Developing and guiding a small team of experienced IT Support & Service Desk Analysts.
  • Collaborating with the Corporate IT team, working directly with end-users and business stakeholders, including C-Level Executives & Directors, to support new processes and technologies services.
  • Ensuring seamless integration of new applications and systems into the cloud infrastructure environment, focusing on continuous improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with policy and architectural standards through timely patching of systems.
  • Active participation in project meetings with management and senior executives.
  • Liaising with 3rd Party technology vendors for support requirements.
