Job Overview

This role is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment as a Relief Coordinator/Catering Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating meal plating and delivery service, monitoring workflow and adjusting staffing or tasks to maintain service standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, ability to work shifts across a 14-day rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays, with starts around 05:30–06:30 and 14:30.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating meal plating and meal delivery service
  • Monitoring workflow and adjusting staffing or tasks to maintain service standards
  • Assisting with induction and orientation of new or casual staff
  • Ensuring staff follow food safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols

The successful candidate will also be responsible for undertaking cleaning duties throughout the department and at ward level while complying with HACCP/Food Safety regulations, infection control and hospital standards.

Requirements
  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
