We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Tradesperson to join our team at Adelaide Oval, responsible for maintaining the building's plumbing, gas systems, and equipment.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Tradesperson, you will work full-time at Adelaide Oval, supporting minor capital work projects, accurately costing jobs within budget requirements, and monitoring plumbing stock and equipment levels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on Health and Safety (WHS), excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond quickly to change. You will also be a team player with effective communication skills and good physical fitness and strength.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver day-to-day plumbing requirements, including supporting minor capital work projects
  • Accurately cost and quote jobs within budget requirements
  • Monitor plumbing stock and equipment levels
  • Oversee testing of all plumbing and gas systems
  • Undertake and coordinate relevant testing and maintenance of all plumbing systems
  • Ensure all relevant duties are completed in conjunction with event timelines
  • Attend to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment
  • Perform general and emergency plumbing and gas repairs/maintenance as required
Requirements
  • Plumbing Trade qualification
  • Minimum three years experience in a multi-site or stadium environment
  • Practical experience in contractor management and planned preventative maintenance works
  • Exceptional time management skills and working to a schedule
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while demonstrating drive and initiative
