Heavy Vehicle Technician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team in Smeaton Grange branch. The position is on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills.
  • Perform routine servicing, maintenance and repair work on heavy vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of industry leading brands and technologies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Trade Certificates for Heavy Diesel Automotive or equivalent.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions.
  • Accurately complete job service reports and paperwork.
  • Commitment to safe work practices.
  • Commitment to long term employment and its opportunities.
  • Willingness to attend OEM specific technical training.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Current NSW driver's licence.
  • Strong work ethics, punctuality and reliability.
  • Ability to maintain a 100% work efficiency.
  • Ability to work on a range of light, medium & heavy vehicle.
  • Ability to work offsite if and when required.
  • Ability to work overtime & Saturdays as required.
  • Own tools (specialised tooling provided).
