Occupational Therapist Role

  • Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality NDIS allied health services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals through person-centred care.

Our team of 110+ Occupational Therapists work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or clinics, providing clinical services to participants aged 0-65 with various diagnoses and disability types.

Your work will involve assessments and interventions such as:

  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments
  • Sensory Assessments
  • Assistive Technology (AT) Assessments
  • Home Modifications Assessments (including complex)
  • Functional Daily Living Skills Assessments
  • Environmental Risk Assessments
  • Skill building and ongoing therapy

Key Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client needs
  • Developing and implementing personalized plans to support clients
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Providing ongoing therapy and skill-building services

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one before commencement
