About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work for Coles, a leading retail company in Australia. As the Town Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering store design, planning, and site documentation outcomes in support of the company's network development pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a town planning framework that supports the rollout of projects at scale.
- Provide planning advice to support business and design decisions and prioritize project activity.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver town planning outcomes in support of the project development pipeline.
- Coordinate reports and studies as required in support of planning processes.
- Track and report on progress of town planning applications.
- Develop relationships with approval and referral authorities to achieve desired outcomes.
- Mentor Store Planners and Designers within the company to build understanding of planning considerations.
About You and Your Skills
We are looking for a knowledgeable Town Planner with extensive experience in delivering projects in fast-paced growth environments under a structured framework. You will also have:
- Minimum 5 years of Town Planning experience in commercial developments.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant area.
- Experience in at least one of retail, QSR, or Service Station developments.
