We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Educator to join our team, who can effectively support the learning and development of school-aged children in a play-based environment. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
Your primary focus will be on providing individualized care and attention to each child, while also maintaining a safe and secure environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. This includes participating in activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor games, and educational excursions.
You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff members will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging programs for school-aged children
- Provide individualized care and attention to each child
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop policies and procedures
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or equivalent) would be desirable but not essential
- A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is mandatory
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, or Early Years Learning framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
