Senior Medical Specialist Role

This senior position plays a pivotal role in supporting Registrars and Resident Medical Officers as they complete their specialty training in gynaecological oncology.

  • Laparoscopic surgery and tertiary level antenatal and intrapartum care are key responsibilities of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Medical Specialist will work closely with A/Prof Rhonda Farrell to hone their surgical skills and contribute to the management of labour ward and ultrasound services.

Selection Criteria:
  • A strong commitment to pursuing a career in gynaecological oncology or gaining advanced surgical skills is essential.
  • Eligibility for medical registration and progression through CGO/FRANZCOG pathways is also a requirement.
