Job Title: Paint Sorting Supervisor

Join Cleanaway, a leading waste management company in Australia, as a Paint Sorting Supervisor in our Dandenong facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 6 paint sorters and coordinating the paint sorting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the paint sorting team to ensure efficient and accurate sorting of paint stillages.
  • Enforce and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to Cleanaway's stringent safety policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate incoming logistics from collection points with the Administration Team.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all incoming and outgoing inventory, including consumables, for the paint sorting operations.
  • Coordinate outbound transport for sorted paint with the Administration Team.
Requirements:
  • Forklift truck license.
  • Previous experience with paint sorting, dangerous goods, or chemical handling is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience as a leading hand in an industrial setting is highly regarded.
  • Great attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in Maths and English.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.
