About the RoleAs a Project Engineer, you will work closely with our clients to deliver complex infrastructure projects, focusing on the Water sector. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Applying project scope controls and contributing to scope definition management to ensure successful project delivery.
- Working closely with clients to understand and contribute to the successful delivery of the program by managing key relationships and communicating across a diverse stakeholder group.
- Contributing to the development of project schedules to manage work programmes and oversee the implementation of these schedules through continuous monitoring and updates to baseline schedules.
- Contributing to the development of project budgets and reconciliation of these to deliver the forecast investment targets of the Capital Delivery Program.
- Providing support in the collation of data and information required to drive effective decision-making, considering technical risk and delivery planning analytics.
- Proactively and consistently reporting to the Portfolio leadership team, and other key stakeholders, on status, progress, and completion of projects.
- Through the application of quality policies and procedures, identifying opportunities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives; and where relevant, managing and delivering actions associated with these.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A genuine passion for working on the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
- Able to appreciate project management principles and tools, and a passion for projects that make a difference to our world.
- Background and transferable experience with infrastructure projects, water infrastructure projects are ideal but not necessary.
- Qualifications or equivalent work experience in disciplines such as engineering, project management, construction management, business, environment, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience communicating and engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders and upholding and supporting the project ethics and values.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organisation, record keeping, and general reporting with a growth mentality.
