Ceramic Craftsperson

We are seeking a highly skilled Ceramic Craftsperson to join our construction team in Sydney.

This full-time position involves working on residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces as part of a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Certificate 4 in wall and floor tiling or equivalent experience;
• No less than two years of experience in the trade;
• Strong knowledge of tiling techniques and materials;
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings with ease;

Key responsibilities include:

• Surface preparation for optimal tile adhesion;
• Selecting and laying tiles to achieve precise, professional finishes;
• Cutting tiles to size with precision and speed;
• Installing tiles to exact specifications;
• Grouting tiles for a seamless finish;
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure exceptional workmanship;
• Maintaining equipment and tools to prevent damage and optimize performance;
• Ensuring workplace health and safety standards are met at all times;
• Building strong relationships with clients through effective communication and teamwork skills.
