Job Description

The Renal Disease Prevention Specialist is responsible for providing education on kidney disease prevention and health promotion to clients. To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in managing clients with chronic disease, particularly chronic kidney disease, and be able to provide brief interventions for risk behaviors and self-management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse or registered Aboriginal Health Practitioner with at least 2 years' post-graduate work experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of issues affecting the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people in Central Australia.
