Job Description

As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in loading catering onto aircraft, guiding vehicles for safe approach and working with airline cabin crew to ensure correct loads. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a close-knit team committed to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform short distance driving and basic vehicle checks to ensure optimal performance and roadworthiness.
  • Load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens in accordance with company policies.
  • Guide and position trucks in line with the organization's guidelines for safe and efficient operations.
  • Communicate and coordinate with airline cabin crew for effective aircraft servicing and delivery handovers.
  • Coordinate with dispatch to manage aircraft timings and flight delivery allocations effectively.
  • Complete administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties to maintain a high standard of service.
Requirements
  • Hold a clean MR or HR driver's license to operate company vehicles safely.
  • Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks to meet the demands of the role.
  • A safety-first mindset, always aware of surroundings and practicing proper techniques to prevent accidents.
  • Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential to ensure seamless operations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and airline staff.
  • Neat and tidy presentation to reflect the organization's high standards.
  • Obtain a clear National Police Check prior to commencement.
  • Availability to work 38 hours/week as this role is a full-time permanent position.
