We are seeking talented economists to join our team in a federal government department. This is an exciting opportunity to work on economic research and analysis, contributing to complex policy and pricing decisions.

Job Description

The role involves leading or contributing to small teams delivering economic research and analysis. Duties may include:

  • Conducting economic research and analysis to inform policy and pricing decisions
  • Developing and implementing analytical frameworks to monitor program impacts
  • Designing pilot studies to address information gaps and test innovative solutions
  • Applying statistical and economic modelling using large datasets

We are looking for individuals with strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in economics, econometrics, or a related field. Experience in R, Python, Stata, or SAS is desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
