Community Care Worker

We are seeking an individual to provide person-centred care and support to clients in their homes. The role involves travelling between clients' residences, assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, accompanying clients to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer well-being and reporting on progress
  • Participating in team meetings and attending training as required
Requirements:
  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • A reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  • A smartphone with internet access
