Job DescriptionWe're seeking a seasoned Senior Designer to join our team as a Senior Footwear and Accessories Designer. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for creating innovative and commercially viable footwear designs that align with our brand aesthetic and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Trend forecasting and interpretation to identify and implement global trends and colour palettes.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to create commercial, customer-focused product ranges that best reflect our brand handwriting.
- Development of technical specification drawings and production art to deliver desirable samples and customer on-floor experience.
- Creation of accurate and effective production art for print and pattern execution.
- Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Textiles, or Footwear and Accessories Design.
- 5+ years of designing experience in a fast-paced, large-volume retail environment or supplier to DDS.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, and CAD software.
- Advanced use of software such as GBSS, Cebtric, and Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of print types and limitations within print execution.
- Experienced in building relationships with key stakeholders and developing leadership qualities.
