We are seeking an experienced Contaminated Land Professional to lead contaminated land and remediation projects.

About the Role

This challenging position involves managing complex projects from initial planning to close-out, ensuring high technical standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contaminated land and remediation projects from inception to completion.
  • Oversee PSI/DSI investigations, remediation action plans, validation reports, and ongoing management plans.
  • Apply technical expertise across soil, groundwater, vapour, landfill gas, and hazardous materials assessments.
  • Ensure project budgets, deadlines, and client communications are managed effectively.
  • Mentor junior consultants, fostering both technical skills and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in contaminated land consulting, preferably in the Australian market.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects to a high technical standard.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent report writing and client communication abilities.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, engineering, geology, or similar.
  • CEnvP accreditation (or working towards) is highly regarded.
