Music Educator for Brass and Piano

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Music Educator to join our team at Our Lady of Mercy College Heidelberg.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Brass and Piano, with a strong focus on trumpet and trombone. They will also need to have the ability to teach Piano up to approximately group 3 standard and may be required to instruct a band.

Key Responsibilities- Teach Brass and Piano lessons to students
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Instruct a band (as required)
- A strong knowledge of teaching trumpet and trombone
- Ability to teach Piano up to group 3 standard
- Highly motivated and dynamic individual
- Capacity to work with limited supervision and within a team
This is a casual, fixed-term 12-month appointment. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020 (ESSGS Award). The successful applicant will also be involved in College concerts, workshops and other activities as requested by the Instrumental Music Coordinator.
