This role involves collaborating with diverse business owners to uncover new growth opportunities, expand partnerships, and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions. You'll become a trusted advisor, supporting clients day-to-day while identifying ways to tailor Square's products to suit complex business scenarios.
The ideal candidate will have experience in mid-market account management, business development, consulting, partnerships, sales, or sales engineering, with expertise in working with senior decision-makers. They will have a proven track record of managing projects with multiple company partners on behalf of customers.
You Will:
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with existing sellers to retain and grow Square's presence in mid-large market organizations
- Take ownership of your managed book, overseeing business prioritization, contracting, technology strategy, and ongoing account management
- Discover the challenges and aspirations of sellers within your book, using Square's platform and product portfolio to enable their success through up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
- Partner with sales colleagues to establish and grow newly onboarded, high-value sellers
- Be the 'voice of the seller,' curating analysis of product performance from your managed book and providing relevant feedback to inform product roadmap decision-making
