Job Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to embark on a career in Sexual Health Medicine.
Work Location:
The role is based in Port Kembla, situated near Wollongong and an hour's drive south of Sydney. The area boasts a mix of coastal scenery, beaches, and rolling hills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert training to RACP Advanced Trainees in the field of Sexual Health Medicine.
- Diagnose and manage sexually transmissible infections, HIV, hepatitis C, long acting contraception, gender affirming care for transgender clients, genital dermatology, sexual function, and forensic examination and aftercare for sexual assault.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising nurses and allied health practitioners.
- Attend regular clinics in Wollongong, Port Kembla, and Shoalhaven.
- Participate in the sexual assault roster and provide advice to other health professionals in community clinics and hospital settings.
