Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions.

This role involves assisting individuals to return to meaningful occupation, evaluating treatment and/or rehabilitation needs, and helping clients identify future employment or training options.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Specialist knowledge and skills to assist individuals to return to occupation
  • Evaluation of treatment and/or rehabilitation needs for workers with work-related or non-work-related injuries or illnesses
  • Ability to help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests
  • Performance of assessments including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
  • Effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client's progress toward return to work goal
  • Engagement with key stakeholders and building strong relationships to facilitate achievement of business objectives

Requirements

  • Professional registration with AHPRA, ESSA (AEP)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
