About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Catholic Healthcare Limited. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to residents, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans
  • Acting as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • A current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
  • A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
