This is a casual position that requires a motivated and experienced individual to join our team in providing quality care services. The successful applicant will be required to undertake cleaning schedules for food service areas, notify cook/chef of any changes to menu or issues relating to service delivery, and meet care recipients' needs and choice on an ongoing basis in relation to food preparation, presentation and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake cleaning schedules for food service areas.
- Notify cook/chef of any changes to menu or issues relating to service delivery.
- Clean dishes, including loading and unloading dishwashers.
- Meet care recipients' needs and choice on an ongoing basis in relation to food preparation, presentation and delivery.
- Carry food trays from food trolley to resident's bed.
- Manually handle supplies, stores and food items in and out of cool room and storage rooms.
- Clean all areas in the facility as specified on cleaning schedules.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used according to instructions and always clean and fully functional.
- Report any dysfunctional equipment as soon as possible.
- Report any hazards when identified.
- Undertake stock control by monitoring quality of chemicals and report any problems.
