Section Waiter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Section Waiter to join our No35 dining team at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. As a Section Waiter, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and fond farewell.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a section of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests
  • Provide exceptional service, ensuring a warm welcome and fond farewell
  • Be knowledgeable and passionate about Food & Wine, taking guests on a culinary journey
  • Work effectively in a team environment, contributing to and assisting co-workers
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Requirements:
  • Valid RSA
  • Strong focus on guest and team relations
  • Highly organized and able to effectively manage priorities
  • Project a professional image at all times
  • Display high energy levels and versatility in responding to guest requests and situations
