Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to perform critical engine repairs, maintenance and diagnostics in a fast-paced environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to breakdown events, utilizing strong diagnostic skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain fleets by performing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct diverse range of engine repairs, from minor to major, utilizing trade qualifications and experience to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Work effectively autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other OEMs, representing the company at customer sites and capturing key engine data.
  • Perform fault diagnostics, leveraging technical expertise to identify and resolve complex issues.
Requirements
  • Desirable: field service experience coupled with heavy-duty engine experience.
  • Relevant trade qualification (heavy diesel preferred but not essential).
  • Strong engine diagnostic experience and ability to work independently for extended periods.
  • A genuine commitment to workplace safety, demonstrated through adherence to strict protocols and procedures.
  • A valid driver's license, enabling effective transportation between job sites.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, facilitating seamless collaboration with colleagues and customers.
Additional Qualifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including toolbox, to ensure efficient access to tools and equipment.
  • Exhibit good attention to detail and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality repairs that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Engine rebuild and major repair experience preferred, but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Experience with Cummins products beneficial, but not required, as comprehensive training will be offered.
